Blinkx Pico: Intelligent Implicit search



Blinkx today launced a tiny desktop search app called Pico that resembles the Google Sidebar or even Intellext Watson - It's just more smart.

Pico reads your active screen (like email, Word document, Browser window), infers the meaning of what you're looking at based on context, and then retrieves relevant information from news, blogs, video, Web, Wikipedia, images, myspace.com and shopping websites.



Blinkx PicoView, shown above, displays results from different sources in a neat format similar to the Firefox reveal extension.

Pico Smart Folders continuously monitor the topic of interest for you.
